So what does it take to prepare for a photo shoot? The photographer meets with the client to explain the 3 P’s: process, products and pricing. One important aspect of the consultation is asking the client questions about what type of session they want, what types of photos do they like, and so on… These and other questions help with the design of the photo shoot.
To design the shoot the photographer thinks about the lighting setup, backdrops and props to use, types of poses best suited for the client, clothing considerations and sometimes hair and makeup depending on the shoot.
A lot of thought goes into planning but even so, you never know the direction it might take and this just adds to the fun.
There are many parts that make up the whole of a photo session with the sole purpose of making it an enjoyable and fun experience for the client.
